WHAT IS A CORE CHARGE
 
A core charge is a refundable deposit that ensures the return of your old gauge cluster, known as the "core," after purchasing a refurbished unit. For our 2002-2008 Trailblazer and Envoy gauge clusters, the core charge is $150 and is included in the final price at checkout. Here’s how it works:
 
 
Deposit at Purchase: When you buy a refurbished cluster, the total price includes the $150 core charge. For example, if the cluster costs $350, this amount already includes the $150 core charge.
 
Return Your Old Cluster: After installing your refurbished cluster, you send your old cluster back to us. It must be in repairable condition (not severely damaged or missing parts).
 
Refund: Once we receive and inspect your old cluster to ensure it is suitable for refurbishment, we refund the $150 core charge to you.
 
If you choose not to return your old cluster, the $150 core charge becomes non-refundable. This process allows us to recycle and refurbish old clusters, keeping costs lower and reducing waste.
